Prudential Ride 100 for Dravet Syndrome UK

This August KDW’s Director Marcus Maisey is cycling the Prudential Ride 100 miles to raise money for Dravet UK on behalf of Jacob Alger who has this condition.

Jacob was diagnosed with Dravet Syndrome in January 2016 when he was only 15 months old. This is a rare and severely disabling type of epilepsy starting in infancy, with the first seizure typically in the first year of life.

Dravet syndrome is a serious life-threatening condition. Jacob has had many trips to the hospital but continues to fight with a smile on his face.

Dravet Syndrome UK is an independent UK charity dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by Dravet syndrome through support, education and medical research. To find out more please click here.

Marcus will be cycling 100 miles from London to Surrey, taking place on 4th August 2019.  Ride 100 aims to become the largest charity fundraising cycling event in the world.  Starting from Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in east London, with a spectacular finish on The Mall, London.

Your support will be greatly appreciated. If you would like to donate for this cause, then please visit Marcus’s fundraising Page:
