Jacob was diagnosed with Dravet Syndrome in January 2016 when he was only 15 months old. This is a rare and severely disabling type of epilepsy starting in infancy, with the first seizure typically in the first year of life.

Dravet syndrome is a serious life-threatening condition. Jacob has had many trips to the hospital but continues to fight with a smile on his face.

Dravet Syndrome UK is an independent UK charity dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by Dravet syndrome through support, education and medical research. To find out more please click here.
